Parallel-flow and serpentine condensers are different designs and are not interchangeable. Listings state the design, the core dimensions and whether the condenser includes the receiver-drier, because on many vehicles the drier is integrated and on others it is a separate part.
A condenser that has been punctured by road debris cannot be repaired reliably. Epoxy repairs hold until the system reaches pressure and temperature, then fail again.
When a compressor has failed and sent debris through the circuit, the condenser usually cannot be flushed and has to be replaced with the compressor.
