Listings here distinguish front from rear, and where a vehicle uses different pad shapes on the same axle depending on the brake package, the listing states which package the pad fits.
Pad compound changes behaviour. Ceramic pads are quieter and dust less; semi-metallic pads bite harder when cold and handle heat better. The description on each listing says which compound is supplied, because fitting the wrong one changes pedal feel noticeably.
Hardware is often included and often not. If the listing does not mention abutment clips, shims or slide pin boots, assume they are not in the box and order the brake hardware kit alongside.
Pads should always be replaced as an axle set. Fitting one side only produces uneven braking and, on vehicles with electronic brake distribution, can trigger a fault.
