Finding the right part
Which vehicles do your brake and cooling parts fit?
Our catalog is organised around domestic and import passenger vehicles, light trucks and SUVs. Each listing states the years, makes and models the part is confirmed against, and where a platform shares a part across several models the interchange list is included in the description. If your vehicle is a heavier truck, a van chassis or a hybrid with regenerative braking, check the listing notes before ordering because those systems often use different hardware.
Can I look up a part by VIN instead of year, make and model?
Yes. Send us the 17-character VIN and we will decode the build and confirm the exact part number your vehicle calls for. The VIN is more reliable than the year and model alone, because manufacturers change brake and cooling hardware mid-year on the same platform. You can also use the year, make and model selector on the shop page if you already know the part number you need.
Are the parts you sell OEM, OE-equivalent or aftermarket?
We list three kinds. Genuine OEM parts are the ones the manufacturer installs on the assembly line and carry the factory brand on the box. OE-equivalent parts are built to the same drawings by a supplier that also delivers to the factory. Aftermarket parts are produced by independent manufacturers and are listed together with the OEM numbers they replace so you can compare them against the part you are removing.
What if the part number cross-references to several listings?
Choose by the fitment note on each listing rather than by the cross-reference alone. A single OEM number can be superseded several times, and the superseded part may look different from the original while fitting the same position. If two of our listings share a cross-reference, the difference is normally the brand, the side of the vehicle or whether the item is sold individually or as an axle pair, and that difference is written in the description.
Shipping and delivery
How soon will an in-stock rotor or caliper leave the warehouse?
In-stock orders are picked and handed to the carrier within the handling time shown on the product page. Transit after that is typically three to seven business days inside the contiguous United States. Brake rotors and calipers are heavy items, so they ship in their own cartons and occasionally split into more than one parcel; each tracking number is emailed as soon as the label is scanned.
What order value qualifies for free shipping?
Shipping is free once your cart passes the threshold shown in the header of every page. Below that threshold the checkout shows the carrier rate before you pay, and there is no handling surcharge added at the end. Oversized items such as complete axle assemblies or radiator-and-fan packages can carry a freight charge that is stated on the product page.
Do you deliver to Alaska, Hawaii or Canada?
Our checkout is built for the contiguous United States. For Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Canada, contact us with the part numbers and the postal code first: we will confirm whether the carrier can serve the address and quote the real freight, because heavy brake and cooling parts are often priced by weight and zone rather than by a flat rate.
Orders, returns and warranty
Can I swap a pad or filter after the order is placed?
Contact us while the order is still in the picking queue and we can usually change the item, the quantity or the address. Once the parcel is handed to the carrier it cannot be pulled back, so at that point the return route applies instead. Change requests are handled fastest by email with the order number in the subject line.
The caliper does not bolt up. What are my options?
Email us within 48 hours of delivery with your VIN, the order number and photos of the caliper against the mounting knuckle. Most bolt-up problems trace back to a bracket difference or to a left and right caliper being swapped, both of which we can identify from photos. If the part we sent does not match the listing, we cover the return freight and send the correct one.
Can brake fluid, coolant or paint be returned?
Sealed brake fluid, antifreeze, refrigerant and aerosol paint can be returned unopened within the return window because they are classified as hazardous for transport and cannot be shipped back once opened. Electrical items such as ABS modules and blower motor resistors are also only accepted unused in their original packaging, since a fitted module cannot be resold.
Do you price for independent shops and fleets?
Yes. Repair shops, collision centres and fleet operators ordering in volume get a quoted price rather than the web price. Send the part numbers, the quantities and how often you expect to reorder, and we will come back with a tier that reflects the volume. Recurring consumable lines such as pads, filters and coolant are the easiest to set up on a standing order.
Can you send an invoice with a PO number?
Yes. The order confirmation email is generated automatically, and the invoice attached to the shipment email can be reissued against a purchase order number, a business name or a tax exemption certificate. Email the order number and the reference you need printed on the invoice and we will send a corrected copy the same business day.
Who honours the warranty on a failed compressor or caliper?
The manufacturer does. We pass their coverage through and handle the claim paperwork on your behalf, but we do not add a store warranty on top of it. Wear items such as pads, shoes and wiper blades are excluded by the manufacturer once they have been used, and a caliper or compressor that failed because of contaminated fluid or a blocked condenser circuit usually falls outside coverage as well.
Why does the same rotor appear under two prices?
Coated and uncoated rotors, drilled and plain rotors, and single versus axle-pair listings are separate products and never share a price. Where two listings look identical, the difference is normally the coating, the number of pieces in the box or the brand. Read the title and the specification table on each listing before comparing prices, because a pair of rotors is not the same purchase as one rotor.
